About the material
Polyurethane coatings for gloves are supplied as waterborne dispersions. The published art describes systems combining polyurethane blends with silicone, a crosslinker, wetting agents and stabilisers, and reports that cross-linked polyurethane impregnated with silicone donns better than non-cross-linked polyurethane or cross-linked polyurethane without silicone.
Donning performance is the point of the coating. Additives with an inherently low coefficient of friction, and the presence of wax, are described in the same literature as improving lubricity, film coherence and smoothness.
PU2010AG is formulated for powder-free vinyl gloves. Grade-specific data is held by the producer and available on request.
